Since 2005 the World Rookie Tour is the most famous, largest and oldest youth international action sport series. With events world wide, it gathers more than 2.500 riders in snowboard, freeski and, from summer 2019, skateboard.
The Tour concept is very easy: the top 3 skaters from each national qualification event will get a spot in the World Rookie Skateboard Finals, where the annual World Rookie Champion title will be awarded, together with incredible prizes. Also every nation is entitled to send its best 3 youngster and as will the top rider in the World Rookie Ranking will be admitted to the finals.

World Rookie Tour consists of a selection of high quality International events, which are not only competitions, but also features loads of other activities to help youngsters to grow in the field of professional sport, such as workshops, photo & video shootings, meetings with photographers and international team managers, ticket to the best action sports events, parties and English talks.
World Rookie Tour is dedicated to providing the young action sport riders with the best possible opportunities to progress their competitive experience and their career. Through the last 16 years, the Black Yeti discovered the strongest snowboarders and freeskiers in the world, X-Games medalists and many Olympic riders. Now the time has come for the World Rookie Tour Skateboard to offer this unique opportunity to the best young skaters all around.
Since its first edition in 2019, the World Rookie Tour Skateboarding provided the perfect opportunity for aspiring skaters to break on to the best top skateboarding events in the world. In fact prizes supported the top skaters carriers: invitations to world class events such as the legendary Simple Session in Tallin and the Red Bull Roller Coaster in Germany. Also the best riders in the tour were invited to photo shooting and to filming trip around Europe.

Qualification events are planned in Italy (Modena and Milano), Portugal (Lisbon), Switzerland (Winterthur), Germany (Chemintz), Czech Republic (Praha) and some other location to be defined soon.
The 2021 World Rookie Skateboard Finals will be held in Innsbruck, Austria, at the premium indoor facility “Skate Hall”.
Among the many prizes for the best skaters of the 2021 World Rookie Tour Skateboarding, several ticket to major international events will be awarded: Simple Session in Tallin, Red Bull Roller Coaster in Munich, Mystick Sk8 Cup in Praha and more to be defined.
