Product description
Playful all-mountain board with a freestyle heart
The newly redesigned United Shapes Horizon infuses freestyle energy into every terrain. Featuring its Directional Twin Shape, a new Energy Core construction crafted from poplar, paulownia, and bamboo, along with a full-length carbon stringer, the Horizon provides power, pop, and control—delivering a playful and responsive feel. Deep Days Inserts enhance float in powder, while the incorporation of bio-resin and recycled materials renders this ride more eco-friendly.
Riding Style
The Horizon is an all-mountain/freestyle board for riders who want to blend creativity and playfulness with a touch of power.
Shape
The directional twin shape ensures balanced performance whether you ride forward or switch. A slight setback adds extra length to the nose, improving float in powder without compromising the freestyle feel.
Profile
The Early Rise Camber features 5 mm of positive camber underfoot for precise edge hold. Slightly lifted nose and tail enhance versatility and create a smooth, controlled ride in varied conditions.
Flex
A medium flex strikes the perfect balance between stability at speed and playfulness for side hits and creative lines.
Construction
The Energy Core unites poplar, paulownia, and bamboo for optimal energy return, pop, and responsiveness. A unidirectional carbon stringer extending from tip to tail enhances stability and snap. The Triax-fibreglass layup, supplemented by additional Biax reinforcement in the binding zones, boosts torsional stiffness without increasing weight. A matte topsheet crafted from 50% bio-based materials, a plant-based resin, and a sintered 2100 base made with recycled content completes this more eco-conscious design.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
