Product description
SLAYERS OF NATURAL TERRAIN, TAKE THIS BOARD AND SET YOUR EYE TO THE SKY
Designed to be a terrain-slaying alternative to more traditional twin shapes, the Burton Flight Attendant is a freethinker that dissects both pow and hardpack with equal precision. Balanced Freeride Geometry is the secret with setback camber and sidecut that are centred on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge, the board turns tight and quick, with an entry rocker and taper for added float and flow. Less big mountain than the Landlord but more aggressive and directional than the Custom.
Riding Style
The Flight Attendant finds its sweet spot almost everywhere: From steep lines and spontaneous slashes to wind lips and pillows.
Shape
Freeride Directional Shape - Twin or Directional is the age-old question for creative rippers. Freeride Geometry ends that debate with a setback camber and a waist that aligns with your stance to create a twin freestyle feel.
A 10mm tapered shape means the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow flotation.
Profile
Directional Camber features an entry rocker that causes the nose to lift while camber under both feet maintains momentum and stability through deep-driving turns and variable conditions.
Flex
The Directional Flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.
Construction
The FSC® Certified Super Fly II® 700G Core features stronger and lighter woods targeting specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight. Additionally, with DUALZONE® EGD®, wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.
The Triax® Fiberglass offers a versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred. The ultra-light Carbon I-Beam® backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap. At the Sintered WFO Base, the wax is worked deep into the pores of this extremely absorbent, dense material. The result is an extremely durable base that stays wide open in every weather condition the whole season long.
Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable - The Channel® gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major bindings (not just Burton’s). In fact, Burton trusts it so much that all boards with The Channel are backed by a 3-year warranty.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
