Product description
The secret weapon for big mountain lines
The Burton Family Tree High Fidelity is designed for riders who embrace steep lines, tight terrain, and deep powder. Inspired by the Natural Selection Tour and honed by Burton's team riders, this freeride board combines the versatility of a twin stance with the directional power needed for maximum confidence on any terrain.
Riding Style
A big-mountain freeride board designed for experienced riders seeking control, stability, and precision in challenging conditions. Built for those who tackle lines that others hesitate to ride.
Shape
The Freeride Directional shape, featuring a 7 mm taper, provides effortless turn initiation, enhanced float, and stable control—even in deep snow. With Balanced Freeride Geometry, the board feels like a twin on a flat base due to its setback camber and stance-centered sidecut. However, it transforms into a directional carving machine when on edge. The Pro-Tip design reduces swing weight, allowing for improved maneuverability.
Profile
Directional camber features a rockered nose for increased float, paired with robust camber underfoot that provides drive and stability during turns and on varied terrain.
Flex
A medium to aggressive flex (6–9), ideal for powerful lines, controlled landings, and quick edge-to-edge response. Tuned for freeriders who demand performance.
Construction
The Super Fly II™ 700G Core is designed using lightweight yet durable woods to provide targeted power, snap, and reduced weight. The Dualzone™ EGD™ feature enhances edge hold by aligning the wood grain along the toe and heel edges. The Squeezebox core profiling balances thicker, more powerful zones with thinner, more flexible areas for improved energy transfer and smooth control. Additionally, the 45° Carbon Highlights decrease weight while refining the torsional feel of the board.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
