    Product description

All-mountain freestyle with maximum pop and power - shred the whole mountain with the Rome National Bjorn Leines Pro

The National delivers response off jumps, precision for carving turns and slashing power for powder. The flex pattern, with the innovative Fusion Camber profile, and the TurboRods create a high-performance profile for riding mountains with a strong freestyle flavour. Bjorn Leines shreds the National for daily backcountry sessions at Snowbird, wherever his RV takes him and for park laps at Brighton.

    Riding Style
All-mountain/freestyle for intermediate to advanced riders - This board does everything with ease, from side hits on the piste to powder runs in the backcountry, fast carving turns and shredding the park.

    Shape
This directional twin will provide you with some extra float in the deep fluffy stuff while still providing excellent switch riding capabilities. The nose is slightly longer than the tail but the width is the same. The stance is centred.

    Profile
The Fusion Camber profile will not disappoint for all-mountain performance. With classic camber between the bindings and an even rocker in nose and tail, this profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and groomers, good float in powder.

    Flex
The stiff flex provides you with a very responsive board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.

    Construction
The SuperPop Core Matrix increases pop by using poplar wood, combined with three separate zones of low-density wood for a lower overall weight. TurboRods bring a new approach to loading ollies and building pop. Rome starts by milling channels into the board’s core, then they insert carbon rods that rest freely inside sleeves with a single point of attachment. The rod is anchored only towards the centre area of the board, leaving the outside tip of the rod to flex freely inside the sleeve. This means the TurboRods engage the tip and tail of the board to load maximum spring, creating a more active flex pattern and effectively self-dampening after pop occurs. The Sinterspeed Base is super fast. Ideal for gliding in cold powder and for hitting takeoffs at the right speed. Glasspack Impact Plates under the four corners of your bindings absorb and disperse energy before it has a chance to damage the core.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

    About Rome

Rome SDS lives and breathes snowboarding and has done so since day one. Seeking to reestablish the true roots of snowboarding, Rome kicked off production is 2001.
