Product description
Freestyle meets freeride
Playful yet precise, the Jones Mountain Twin is the board for freestylin’ freeriders who want a board that does it all. It’s designed to shred the entire mountain like it’s your own personal skatepark without sacrificing high-speed, line-bombing stability. Rocker tip and tail make poppin’ pillows or pressin’ boxes equally easy and give the Mountain Twin float and finesse in soft snow. Camber underfoot combined with Traction Tech give the board snap and hold carving hardpack or boosting out of the halfpipe.
Riding Style
This board is designed to shred the entire mountain like it’s your own personal skate park without sacrificing high-speed, line-bombing stability.
Shape
A Directional Twin Shape gives the Mountain Twin improved switch riding qualities, enabling flawless freestyle moves. In deep snow the Blunt Nose makes sure less snow comes over the sides of your nose than it would with a regular shape. This means you get the benefits of a longer traditional nose, without the extra weight. Edges like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Traction Tech 2.0 improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board.
Profile
A unique rocker/camber flex pattern defined by an evenly balanced tip and tail rocker and camber between the bindings. CamRock improves freestyle finesse by keeping your tips playful while maintaining the power and pop of camber underfoot.
Flex
A medium flex (7/10) will ensure precise response, yet with enough flex to butter and jib.
Construction
The Mountain Core is a dual-density full wood core with hardwood bamboo stringers for added pop and durability. Multi-axis stitched Triax fibreglass offers a precise and responsive ride in any terrain or snow conditions. The Sintered 7000 Base is made of a durable natural base material with added carbon for speed and good wax absorbency. The ECO-Plastic Topsheet is a bio-plastic topsheet made from Castor beans. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to the topsheet). All Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability. The rubber edge dampening and ABS sidewall material is made of 100 % recycled material. Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax as well as factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain. By flip-flopping the base graphic colour, P-Tex waste is drastically reduced by increasing the material yield.
This board is also available in 'Wide' version. These are wider than normal boards and developed especially for snowboarders with large feet (EU size 44+) to avoid too much overhang of the boots. Wider boards also give you better float in powder.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
