    Product description

Unreal versatility for every all-mountain / freestyle rider

The Riders Choice is the first choice of many Gnu team riders. It has proven itself many times and is quite possibly the best board ever made by Gnu. The Riders Choice does pretty much everything you have in mind and provides excellent performance everywhere you ride. From tricks in the backcountry to carving on groomers and shredding the park.

    Riding Style
An intermediate to pro-level board with an unreal freestyle performance in every terrain. From the park to the backcountry.

    Shape
The symmetrical True Twin shape offers a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. The Magne-Traction® serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice. The Asymmetrical Sidecut has a smaller radius on the heel side and a larger radius on the toe side. This makes heelside turns a lot easier and more controllable.

    Profile
C2x means short rocker between the bindings combined with large cambers under the bindings. This combination offers good edge hold thanks to the camber underfoot, as well as great float in powder and unlimited freestyle action without hang-ups thanks to the rocker.

    Flex
The medium flex makes the board stiff enough for powerful turns and soft enough for a playful ride.

    Construction
The Asym G2 Eco construction is an environmentally friendly and very lightweight construction design. The G2 Asym Eco core is asymmetrically constructed and consists of Aspen and Paulownia wood. There are three struts of paulownia wood on the heel side of the core and two struts on the toe side. Bi-ax and tri-ax fibreglass provide a snappy board feel. The Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet is made of eco-sublimated materials. The sintered base is very fast but requires careful maintenance.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

    About Gnu

Gnu have been around since the birth of snowboarding, claiming weird, open minded experimentation to be their job. They have worked with mysterious materials, bizarre geometries, contours and board shapes, far out art and colors, odd terrain and freakish riders to create fantastic progressive snowboards that have helped take snowboarding to wild and magical places. A brand we are happy to call one of the family.
