Product description
All-round talent in the backcountry
The Free Tour from Augment is a versatile ski for everything beyond the resort. It comes with an additional layer of Titanal and Carbon, which offers manoeuvrability, response and grip on steep slopes.
Take the Free Tour into the backcountry - this ski delivers what it promises.
Riding style
Your skiing begins where the resort ends? Then the Free Tour is exactly what you're looking for. Perfect for advanced riders who want to raise the level of their backcountry descents.
Shape
With the Directional Shape the nose is slightly wider than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are slightly set back towards the tail. This increases the stability at higher speeds and the uplift in powder.
Profile
This ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and a rocker in the nose and tail areas. This keeps the ski extremely manoeuvrable and gives it an enormous uplift. The camber offers you good edge hold and fast power transmission.
Construction
The paulownia wood core has been reinforced with Titanal and Carbon. This results in a fast-reacting ski that holds in any position. The Phenol steel edge is designed for touring, while the P-Tex racing base provides the necessary speed on the downhill.
- PCM Prepreg Compression Moulding Pressing Process

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
