Jeremy Jones doesn't take his job as a snowboard manufacturer lightly. For 20 years he has been working on developing his “own” personal perfect snowboard as a Burton Pro, the result of which are a handful of innovative , environmentally friendly board building technologies that are used across the entire Jones snowboard range:

• Magnetraction Edges are serrated like a bread knife. They help spread power along the edge, giving the board more grip than standard edges. Jones Snowboards' edges are made of recycled steel “made in Germany”.
• A blunt nose gives the board more float in powder
• Ultra Construction : To reduce weight, Jeremy Jones and his team test their boards intensively to figure out which materials are best used or left out. By reducing unnecessary materials and using an ultralight wood core and two carbon fibre layers, the boards are some of the lightest on the market.
• A wooden top sheet absorbs impact on hard landings and further reduces the percentage of plastic used in the board.
• Bamboo sidewalls help make the board even more environmentally friendly, while progressive sidecuts will make your turns soft as butter.
