The Splitboard binding Vertical combines the experience of Spark R&D and Nitro. Kill two birds with one stone and enjoy splitboard adventures without limits. High-quality workmanship and years of expertise make Spark's Tesla T1 Baseplate a high-end binding system, combined with Nitro’s straps and highback, you can enjoy comfort and support that is second to none.
Highback
The Recline Highback is Nitro´s splitboarding specific highback that allows for negative 11° forward lean for an unobstructed and effortless hiking motion on the way up and multiple forward lean settings for the ride down.
Baseplate
The Tesla T1 baseplate is a machined aluminum baseplate with strategic cut-outs for minimal weight. The system can be changed from climb to ride mode in just a few simple steps. The Whammy Bar supports you on steep climbs: The climbing wire can be set to 12° and 18°. In Ride Mode, the EVA padding absorbs shocks and impacts.
Straps
The First Track® Ankle Straps with Flex Window is Nitro’s all-new padded, lightweight, durable straps with RailGuard Nylon construction. Reduced weight without sacrificing performance and comfort! The Übergrip Toe Strap with Vibram© EcoStep™ Rubber is co-developed with VIBRAM®. The strap adapts to any boots toe box shape while the rubber keeps the strap in place, no matter how hard you stomp your landing.
