Nitro Cheap Thrills 152 2023 Snowboard
A perfectly tuned freestyle powerhouse
The Cheap Thrills is for freestyle snowboarders who see the mountain, the park, the streets and everything in between as a blank canvas just waiting to be turned into a work of art. The flat-out camber profile with medium flex makes the board forgiving yet stable. Add to that the incredibly robust Railkiller edge for hassle-free rail sessions throughout the season and beyond.
Riding style
An all-mountain/park board for every rider level. This board is perfect for freestyle riding in the park and all over the mountain. The flat profile makes the board playful and forgiving. Nevertheless, it still remains stable at higher speeds.
Shape
The True Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden forward or switch.
Profile
The Flat-Out Rocker profile comes with a flat section between the bindings and an even rocker in the nose and tail. This makes the board turn very easily but it remains smooth at higher speeds.
Flex
The medium flex makes the board very flexible, perfect for butter tricks and tweaks. Additionally, softer boards offer a fun ride and a comfortable ride through any terrain.
Construction
The Powercore II is a poplar wood core with beech wood stringers, for unmatched stability, smooth response and incredible pop. The Whiplash Core profile is a thinner board profile between the bindings with reinforced board ends. For maximum ollie power and at the same time a softer flex during presses. The Ureshred sidewalls are made of polyurethane. This makes them very resistant to shock and abrasion and gives them excellent damping properties. The Railkiller Edge is twice as thick and twice as strong as standard steel edges. The Premium Extruded FH base is very durable, user-friendly and offers good gliding properties even without waxing. Even scratches can be repaired relatively easily.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

About Nitro
Nitro was founded by two heavy duty snowboarders, who were disappointed by the selection of snowboard gear available to them. From day one, Nitro's focus has been on nothing but snowboarding and they are dead set on keeping it that way. Together with a star dusted team, Nitro's goal is to bring people together. With the help of snowboard events for kids, youths and adults, their plan for the next few years is to bring back the stoke and love for snowboarding around the world.
