Something unique from Lib Tech

The Megapow from Lib Tech is really something special, a super wide asymmetrical powder ski which is designed for the days when your tracks get filled before you do another lap. This special ski incorporates two ski lengths through its asymmetrical design so its perfect for any powder riding from tight trees to wide open steep faces. The next time you see 50 + cm on the snow report, you'll wish you had these powder monsters on your feet.

Riding Style
The Megapow as the name suggests is designed for super deep snow, when it's pounding with snow outside, these are the skis you want.

Shape
The Megapow is the widest ski in our collection at Blue Tomato, the waist width obviously gives phenomenal float for those bottomless powder days. The asymmetrical shape means that longer and shorter turns are easy. The Megapow is only available in the 191 length, for maximum surface area for maximum floatation.

Profile
The all-mountain rocker profile features a relatively long two stage rocker profile in the tip and the tail and camber underfoot. The camber, in combination with Magne-traction edges ensure that you will maintain grip underfoot, whereas the rocker ensures flotation and turn initiation from the tip and tail.

Flex
The Megapow with a flex of 7.5 out of ten on Lib tech's scale is one of the stiffest skis in the range. Perfect for skiing powder fast!

Construction
The construction of the NAS range is where Lib Tech really shine. 30 years of building clever and innovative snowboards translates perfectly to ski manufacture. The Magne-Traction edge construction in conjuncture with the camber and the full sidewalls ensures that your get grip in any conditions. With the Backwards, you also get a shortened edge at the tip and tail to reduce swingweight. On top of all of this you are guaranteed the skis are made in the most environmentally friendly snowboard factory in the world.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
