Eric Jackson's dream board for precise control and float at maximum speed

After a decade plus of sitting on top of the food chain Eric Jackson knows just what he wants in a dream board. The EJack Knife is a directional C3 camber board with a smooth entry extended floaty nose made even more effortless with a mild taper then finished off with legendary Alaskan folk artist Ray Troll’s art. If you want to gut and clean some double black diamonds with maximum speed, precision, and fun, get the EJack Knife.

Riding Style
If you are looking for a dominant camber board with precise responses for big-mountain powder lines, which you can take to the whole resort as well, this is the one for you.

Shape
Directional is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition. A tapered shape means the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow flotation. The greater amount of volume in front of you will allow for effortless turning in deep or soft snow and increase the float of your board tremendously. The Magne-Traction serrated edges give great edge hold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and ice. They turn ice into powder.

Profile
The C3 profile features a mild rocker between the feet while the rest of the board is profiled like a standard camber. This profile offers an aggressive ride that provides a lot of control and response in every terrain. The mild rocker will give the board just a little bit more playfulness and float than standard camber profiles, while not compromising the positive properties of camber. Some benefits for the advanced riders are precise edge control, maximum stability for high jumps and landings and fast lines.

Flex
The flex of this board is happy in the medium, perfect to shred everything, stable enough to go fast and big, yet flexible enough to press and butter.

Construction
The 'Horsepower construction' HP is lighter than the 'Original Power Construction' OP, environmentally nicer due to the usage of bio beans and basalt fibre and offers an extremely smooth ride. The core consists of a strong Aspen spine with Columbian Gold on either side for a crisp pop and Paulownia on the toe and heel edges for the smoothest riding core with reduced weight and vibration. The combination of Bi-ax and Tri-Ax glass with eco volcanic basalt fibres surrounds the wood core and offers a lively and poppy ride. The TnT Base features a fast and low maintenance dual layered fluoro base material. Wax it or maybe skip a day. Birch Internal Sidewalls are placed along the sidewall of your board to add board control to the sandwich construction. Stronger, more pop, and more control. The UHMW Sintered Sidewalls are a Lib Tech innovation. Twice as sintered as any other sidewall. Tough, fast, hard, waterproof, handsome and light. NO TOXIC ABS! Due to the edges, which do not go throughout at tip and tail, these areas are protected by a 'UHMW Tip/Tail impact deflection' system to avoid damage. Finally, the Bio Beans Topsheet features a tough and eco-sublimated layer to complete the construction.

This board is also available in 'Wide' version. These are wider than normal boards and developed especially for snowboarders with large feet (EU size 44+) to avoid too much overhang of the boots. Wider boards also give you better float in powder.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
