Lib Tech JL Short Wide 150 2023 Snowboard
Jamie Lynn's easy to ride, short, wide freerider
As the name suggests, the Short Wide is the short, wide board from the Jamie Lynn collection. Jamie has not only immortalised his artwork here, but also his idea of a board with which you can surf the steepest pow lines and carve at high speed on the piste.
Riding style
The Short Wide is a freeride board for advanced riders and experts - if you're most comfortable in powder, you'll love the Short Wide. The board is also perfect for fast carving turns on the piste, thanks to its aggressive C3 camber profile.
Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is longer and slightly wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The additional setback of the bindings gives the board a lot of uplift in powder.
Profile
The C3 profile is a classic camber profile with a subtle rocker between the bindings. This provides precise edge control from nose to tail and maximum stability for high airs and landings. The mild rocker makes the board a bit more playful and offers more uplift than conventional camber profiles.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
The Original Power Construction OP is a very lightweight, environmentally friendly and durable construction design from Lib Tech. The core of aspen and paulownia wood is robust with a lot of pop. The base and topsheet are made from eco-sublimated materials and the TNT base is also very fast with low maintenance.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
