Lib Tech Brd 159 2023 Snowboard
THE POW-FOCUSED RESORT SLAYER
The Lib Tech BRD is the perfect daily driver that lets you rip all over the mountain. The early rise nose provides plenty of float in pow, the C3 camber profile provides massive pop and bite, and thanks to the freestyle-friendly tail, you can put your tricks down anywhere, anytime.
Riding style
The BRD is the snowboard for advanced and expert level riders who are out in the resort and backcountry and like to let out their freestyle beast there.
Shape
The directional shape ensures float for trips out into the powder, offers stability and control and guarantees pop. The taper means the nose is wider than the tail and promotes smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed and enhanced deep snow flotation. The larger volume in the front area allows you to make effortless turns in deep and soft snow and increases the float enormously. The Magne-Traction® technology with its wavy edges provides more grip no matter where you are on the mountain, especially on packed snow and icy spots.
Profile
The C3 profile is a classic camber profile with subtle rocker between the bindings. This provides precise edge control from nose to tail and maximum stability for high airs and landings. The mild rocker makes the board a bit more playful and offers more uplift than conventional camber profiles.
Flex
A medium flex is just right if you like fast runs and stable landings. And what's more, you can still easily butter and press.
Construction
The Original Power Construction OP+ is a very lightweight, environmentally friendly and durable construction design from Lib Tech. The core made of 75 % aspen and 25 % paulownia wood is robust and provides you with a lot of pop. Bi-ax and tri-ax fibreglass give the board the necessary stiffness. The Textured Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet is sustainably produced and the UHMW Sidewalls are also made from recycled material. To make sure your board suffers less in the park, it is protected by the UHMW Tip/Tail Impact Deflection. The high-quality, fast, sintered base rounds off the BRD.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
