Amplid Aloha Vibes 154
Riding the Amplid Aloha Vibes in powder gives the feeling of total weightlessness, on hardpack, it carves like a knife
Set-back and really surfy, the dumpy, tug-boat-like Aloha Vibes powder board is unsinkable in even overhead snowfalls. The radical geometry combines a directional taper shape with a swallow-tail to shift 50 % extra surface area to the nose, putting buoyancy where it’s needed. At the bow.
Riding Style
This board is perfect for you, if you are an advanced rider and always on the hunt for untouched pow fields and deep carving turns. Due to its short, wide design, it is very manoeuvrable and perfect for technical, tight terrain.
Shape
The Tapered Swallowtail shape of this directional Powder Board is defined by its long, wide nose and the short swallowtail. These features stand for immense floatation in deep snow and fast, precise turns.
Profile
The Directional Cruise Camber profile has an underfoot camber with a large rocker area in the nose. The enormous float of the rockered nose improves manoeuvrability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response.
Flex
The medium-stiff flex provides you with a lively board that allows you to stay in control at all speeds and pop over everything.
Construction
The Jekyll and Hyde geometry maximises the effective edge and square centimetres at a minimum board length. Resulting in unsinkable but nimble powder boards and jib decks with a huge pop. The HEXO2 technology replaces specific areas of weightier wood at the tips with featherlight recycled paper honey-comb, practically eliminating swing weight. The Omni Core is a dependable, low-density poplar wood core which is lightweight, durable and has great flex.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
