Volcom Stone Stretch Gore-Tex Jacket

I chose this product because my previous shell jacket was falling apart after many years of usage. I went with size XL as I wanted a baggy and loose fit that would not limit my movement. I am 183cm/75kg and the fit is perfectly baggy for me. I could have easily chosen size L as well, but I have rather long arms and like mentioned, wanted a baggy fit so I went with the XL instead. I really like the looks, the intelligently placed large pockets with great and easy to open zippers.

I've tested the jacket in the resorts in different snow and weather conditions. The 2L shell jacket isolates you from the elements and keeps you dry very well. But as this is a shell jacket, it does not keep you warm nor is it meant to - layer up. My blood runs pretty warm so I have never been cold in this jacket, yet at least. The materials are high quality and robust. I can see the jacket lasting me a long time. What I wish the jacket to have though is a front facing ventilation zipper or two for better ventilation when touring or splitboarding.
Nevertheless I am extremely happy with my Volcom jacket and am looking forward for those deeper days later this season!
