Sustainable, functional and full of comfort: the new UltraRange

Vans has a high ambition and wants to make the product line as environmentally friendly as possible. This season, Vans is getting a little closer to that goal with the newly designed UltraRange. The EcoCush™ midsole is made from at least 50 % bio-based foam from sugar cane, while the brand new EcoRubber™ blend is made from responsible natural rubber sourced from suppliers following best ethical practices to minimise harm and make a positive contribution. The upper is a nylon knit upper made from a blend of organic cotton, recycled PET material, recycled nylon and a small amount of spandex.

The UltraRange VR3 is the manifestation of an idea: it's not about where we go, but how we get there.

Not satisfying

Ich hab diesen Schuh vor ein paar Monaten bestellt und man läuft schon sehr bequem damit, gestern musste ich aber feststellen, dass vorne rechts am rechten Schuh, dort wo der kleine Zeh ist und der Schuh bei jedem Schritt belastet bzw geknickt wird ein Loch entsteht.

Das Material des Schuhs ist eine art dehnbares flexibles Netz und das reißt jetzt dort auf. Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass das nun schnell immer größer wird und der Schuh ganz schnell Schrott ist. Dass die Vans Slipons von nicht guter Qualität sind und nach einem Jahr die ersten Löcher bekommen ist ja bekannt und man nimmt es hin aber bei einem so wahnsinnig teuren Schuh in so kurzer Zeit das ist schon echt miserabel.

Ich habe mit dem Schuh keine extremen Touren gemacht, bin ganz normal durch die Stadt spaziert und jetzt fängt er nach 5 Monaten an, sich aufzulösen. Nicht gut.
