Salomon HPS Wolle Nyvelt Fish 162 2023 Snowboard
A PLAYFUL AND CREATIVE FREERIDE POWDERBOARD
The Salomon HPS Wolle Nyvelt Fish was completely designed and built by snowboard icon Wolle Nyvelt. This board comes with a Powder Camber and medium to stiff flex. It is extremely agile and smooth when you're surfing through the deepest snow in your favourite part of the backcountry.
Riding style
A precise powder board for any rider who appreciates deep powder surf turns and creative riding anywhere on the mountain. With this snowboard, the good times never stop.
Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is slightly wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The offset of the bindings in the direction of the tail (setback) makes the nose a little longer for even more uplift in powder.
Profile
The HPS comes with a powder camber. The camber under the rear foot provides explosive carving ability, the rocker areas under the forefoot and the tail provide fun and freedom in powder snow. It's the best of both worlds, without annoying vibrations.
Flex
The medium-hard flex allows you to make precise turns while still ensuring a fun and comfortable ride through any terrain, but it really comes into its own on challenging lines.
Construction
The sintered EG base is designed for super fast gliding on all types of snow, from fresh powder snow to sultry spring snow. Salomon increases the natural snap and pop of the wood core with a specially shaped Popster core profile. The components of the Ghost Green core have been selected and developed to optimise pop and reduce weight while at the same time utilising the sustainable properties of super light paulownia wood. ABC Wrapper is a patented process in which a bamboo veneer reduces the proportion of fibreglass and synthetic resins in the board by 40 %. The classic ABS sidewalls are no more and have been replaced by waterproof bamboo canes.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
