Karakoram Connect-R+2X Quiver Connector

This binding, which is based on the Straightline, is specially cushioned and therefore perfectly suited for the whole resort. The Connect-R is Karakorams first binding with Reaction Highback technology. This design offers a unique, powerful blend of lightweight stiffness and responsiveness. With active joining technology below and the stiffness above, these bindings are beyond aggressive.

Highback
The Reaction Highback design features an optimized strength-to-weight ratio. It comes with a medium-stiff flex and is Flex-Lock compatible. Ride stride forward lean offers a ride and a stride mode on the bindings. With the stride mode, a negative 8 degree forward lean angle is possible, which allows you to glide further with every step. In ride mode, a preset forward lean between zero and 20 degrees provides better leverage on your heelside turns. 

Baseplate
With the open chassis baseplate design, the binding can twist with the torsional flex of the snowboard creating uncompromised board feel. The All-Mountain Tuned chassis is engineered to flex without sacrificing response. The trussed sidewall enhances heel-to-toe stiffness and the soft under foot flex dampens chatter at the resort. This base additionally comes with a two-stage damping. Stage 1 is an EVA footbed with neoprene contact pads, Stage 2 is a Zytel pad which sits above the top of the snowboard and thus ensures good shock absorption. With Power Link, you can get your binding out of ride mode in the easiest way by an ergonomic activation lever, which allows you to remove your binding or engage it with one simple motion.

Straps
The AirForm ankle strap conforms to your boot with independent compression pods, eliminating pressure points and allowing for pinch point free flex. Keep your feet happy and boots snug in your bindings while touring and riding. Made from Dupont Hytrel, the AirForm straps when paired will shave weight and save your feet.

Quiver Connectors
The traditional disc was ready for some innovation. The Quiver Connectors allow you to swap the binding easily from board to board within seconds, so you can always ride the perfect deck for the day’s conditions. The Quiver Connectors fit standard 4x4 insert patterns and offer stance angles from -30° to 30° with micro adjustability.
