Bones Wheels X Blue Tomato 100's OG Bones V4 55mm 100 Wid

The last years I have skated with 52mm as allround wheels and wanted now to try bigger wheels to see if I like it. Starting out I wanted wider wheels. The V4 55mm for wheel construction is a wide wheels with surface coverage of 34mm. Thats wider than any other wheels I have had previous. That caught my attention since I skate from smooth concrete to crusty asphalt.

The bigger the wheels the minimum effort you need to go faster so for me this is a 10/10 reckon if ya wanne go fast !! Bones never flatspot in my experience and I really like the 100's formula for just enough grip on every surface.Got to be honest this is an opinion from a more bowl/vert rider than a more street skater :)

The construction is great so I would try it again. For me the 34mm surface coverage are a great benefit and I will not change to narrower. So as a good allround wheel these do the job and with a lot of fun. Good price for a great pair of wheels.

That cought my attention since I skate from smooth concrete to rugged asphalt. I am a size US 12 and skate on a 8,5 deck so thought I could give this a try.

I have tried the wheels for a couple of weeks and they seem to suit me better than my previous 53mm. The V4 wide construction gives a good feel for me and fun to skate anything with. From smooth concrete to rugged asphalt they are fun. Also bombing hills and just cruise around town. But I like loose trucks and have ACE AF1 and I do get wheelbites often. They are 100s and not so durable, but it did get these to try something new. For my next set of wheels I will try the 54mm to see if they would suit me better, since these 55mm feels just a little too big for me.

Ich fahre das Shape seit ca. 8 Jahren. Bones macht es in SPF/STF leider nur noch bis 54mm, was mir
zu klein ist. Habe bisher 3 Sätze 55mm 100OG´s gehabt (1xBones, 2 X Blue Tomato Collab), jeder
Satz hat spätestens nach 1 Monat bei maximal 2 mal die Woche Bowl/Skatepark fahren Flatspots gehabt...
