The Obex Backcountry MIPS helmet has various technical features that ensure safety and high wearing comfort.
Its outer shell, made of ABS with an EPS insert, is robust and light simultaneously. Inside, the MIPS® Multi-Directional Impact Protection System provides even better protection against rotational forces that act in the event of an impact. The adjustable ventilation prevents fogging of the goggles, and you can adjust the helmet to your exact anatomy using the 360° adjustment system. The twICEme® NFC, Medical ID system, provides immediate information about the state of health and contact persons in case of an emergency. In addition, the RECCO® system ensures safety in the backcountry. 

MIPS® Multi-Directional Impact Protection System
Inside the Obex is the MIPS® Brain Protection System (BPS). It diverts dangerous forces that would otherwise hit your brain with full force, primarily in the case of impacts with a lot of rotational speed.
