The 3L Guardian Shell Jacket by Ortovox has a thin 130 g/m² Merino lining that is laminated with the Toray Dermizax® EV membrane throughout the inside of the garment. The membrane keeps wind and water out, yet it is highly breathable and elastic. At the same time, the membrane is non-porous, making it easy to care for. These characteristics make these garments ideal companions for a day of freeriding.
The jacket and pants work together like a well-trained team. You can connect them with a double protection snow guard integrated into the jacket. The snow guard can be used in the classic manner with a silicon-coated elastic band and a triple button fly or it can be zippered to the pants' separate snow guard. Either way, the snow crystals don't stand a chance.
This freeride jacket allows gentle ventilation courtesy of a two-way zipper under the arms and the adjustable two-way front zipper. The hood is extra wide in order to accommodate a helmet. You can easily adjust it with gloves and just one hand. Numerous pockets inside and out offer plenty of storage space for your ski pass, smartphone or just about anything else. All bands are adjustable with Velcro® or an elastic band and ensure an ergonomic fit.
