Flat Rocker for jibbing and jumping

New for 2017, the Mechanic is dialed for all-around good times on the mountain. Cruise turns.  Find a line in the woods. Hit the same side hit every day. Take a lap, or 10, through the park.  A single shot of pop-enhancing tech teams up with a flat rocker profile for the right blend of response and fun.

HotRods—Glass Single Barrel
A tube of glass adds more a dynamically poppy flex than flat glass fibers.

Riding Style
Jibbing and Jumping. This Snowboard likes to slide around on a fresh tube or style a new Trick on a huge kicker.

Shape
True Twin - This board is built identically from the middle. Riding and landing switch is as easy as riding straight.

Profile
FreePop Rocker: Flat-to-rocker profile combines responsiveness with finesse and float. A rockered nose and tail that meets a flat mid-body to create a responsive and fun all-terrain camber profile. The flat camber is stable and solid under foot, while the rocker in the nose and tail add buttery playfulness.

Construction
The TTT Core Matrix consists of just wood which is better for flex and response. The QuickRip Sidecut gives you a board that rails turns at high speeds and a board that is a playful feeling at slower speeds. StraightBiax is the laminate for riders who make the most out of any terrain. 90-degree fibers create a fun playful flex perfect for cruising, lapping park or ripping bowls.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

About Rome

Rome SDS lives and breathes snowboarding and has done so since day one. Seeking to reestablish the true roots of snowboarding, Rome kicked off production is 2001. Their goal was to create a brand that "lives the values of snowboarding and innovates products that increase the one thing that matters most in snowboarding: fun." They have overshot their goal by miles, and as true snowboarders at heart, we are stoked to have them as a part of our team.
