Product description
Lightweight performance and progression-charged pop
Take your freestyle further with the board Mark McMorris chooses for lightweight performance and action-packed pop. Evolved for massive drops and amplify pop, Mark McMorris picks the Burton Process for its twin freestyle playfulness and all-terrain prowess. The Process makes you feel at home in any terrain. A little bit softer than the Burton Custom, the Process is your freestyle-all mountain board of choice.
Riding Style
The Process is perfect for the advanced riders looking for a freestyle-all mountain board to have fun with.
Shape
The perfectly symmetrical Twin shape offers a balanced ride that’s equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it. Burton’s Scoop is an exaggerated tip and tail scooping turns up the edges for a looser, more forgiving feel that adds catch-free fun when riding everything from a knee-high box to neck-deep pow. Long before the hype about wavy “serrated knife” edges started, Burton introduced Frostbite Edges. Frostbite extends out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t. Pro-Tip™ is a tapered tip and tail thickness, which reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
Profile
An evolution of a traditional camber shape, PurePop Camber profile features subtle flat zones just outside your feet to amplify pop and add playfulness to the snap and response of camber. Early rise tip and tail sections spin and float with a catch-free feel
Flex
The Twin Flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for versatility whether riding naturally or switch.
Construction
The FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Core features stronger and lighter woods targeting specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight. Additionally, with DUALZONE™ EGD™, wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength. Squeezebox profile improves pop and performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board snappier, more stable, and easier to manipulate.
The TRIAX™ Fiberglass offers a versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred. The Sintered Base is durable and highly porous, with added durability and superior wax absorption for greater overall glide.
Stronger, faster, easier, and more adjustable - The Channel® gives you ultimate control of your stance and your board in a design compatible with all major bindings (not just Burton’s). In fact, Burton trusts it so much that all boards with The Channel® are backed by a 3-year warranty.
The Burton-exclusive Infinite Ride™ technology allows Burton to maximise pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
Every Burton snowboard core is Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC™ C124994) certified. The FSC™ is an independent non‑profit that promotes environmentally sound, socially beneficial, and economically prosperous management of our world’s forests.
All Burton boards are packaged in the fully compostable and recyclable paper sleeve. Even better, there is no need to remove the webbing before sending it back into the cycle of life.

This board is also available in 'Wide' version. These are wider than normal boards and developed especially for snowboarders with large feet (EU size 44+) to avoid too much overhang of the boots. Wider boards also give you better float in powder.
Made in Austria
- Our Austrian factory has also been striving to reduce waste and operate as efficiently as possible.
- Provides heat and energy to run the presses as well as heat the factory and offices by burning all wood scraps in the furnace.
- Fully recycles all sidewall and base scrap material back into the process.
- All sidewalls, cores, and spacers are made on site to reduce the transportation footprint.
- Most materials sourced from within a 250 mile radius to reduce the overall carbon footprint.
- Water in board presses is recycled back into the system in a closed loop process to dramatically reduce water usage.
- No More Lacquer. Starting this winter, we have removed the lacquering stage from the finishing process of all snowboards in order to eliminate the negative environmental and human health effects of the high VOC content (volatile organic compounds) found in traditional snowboard lacquers.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
