HOCHFÜGEN, Austria. The Zillertal ski area of Hochfügen will host the RideON ShredFest from 4 to 6 December 2026. The event bills itself as “the snow get-together for everyone” and is built on three ideas: test, connect, celebrate.
Test the gear on snow
Visitors can try equipment from more than 50 brands directly on the slopes. Organizers list innovative board shapes, new binding technology, comfortable boots, functional goggles and lightweight kids’ gear among the things on offer. The brand lineup includes Burton, Salomon, K2, Jones, Lib Tech, Never Summer, Nitro, Arbor, Capita, Head, Oakley, Smith and Scott. The festival is open to all riding levels.
Meet the riding world
The “World of Riding” area is meant as a meeting point for brands, pros, coaches, guides, media, associations, youth programs and destinations. Culture and travel partners include Method Mag, Snowboard Intl, Splitboard Festival, Shred Kids, Free Ride Center Zillertal, ELOA Camps & Adventures, Longboard Classic, risk’n’fun and YETI.
Packed schedule, with a party on Saturday
The on-snow test runs from 08:00 to 15:30 on Friday and Saturday, and from 08:00 to 15:00 on Sunday. World of Riding and off-snow activities start at 11:00 on Friday and Saturday and wrap up by 18:00. Food trucks, coffee and drinks are available from 08:30. Registration and the info desk open at 07:30 each day.
Saturday’s highlight is the YETI Stand Party from 15:00 to 18:00. Organizers also promise After Hours, bars, DJs and drinks. Sunday has a shorter schedule, with the World of Riding closing at 15:00 and food service ending at 16:00. The organizers say new activities are being added continuously, so the full program is worth checking back on.
