After the successful last season, the Snowboard young talent event series continues in winter 23/24 with an expanded offer. At 6 locations, snowboard kids between the ages of 6 and 12 can pick up valuable tips from Snowboardbayern coaches and compete with their peers in snowboard contests.
The "Kids Snowboard Tour" teaches the snowboard basics such as turning, slides and jumps while having fun with the versatility of snowboarding, as well as courage, dexterity and self-confidence. The focus is on learning and having fun. A small contest on Sunday is the final highlight.
The contest mode
The focus is on the combination of speed, aesthetics and the individual strengths of the young athletes. Different terrains like kickers, banks, boxes, slalom elements, rollers will be combined to a fluid run and evaluated by the coaches based on 10 different criteria.
A snowboard event for the little snowboarders brings together children with the same interests from one region. Long journeys are thus avoided. This is important so that local communities can form again, parents can exchange information and get information from coaches about events and training.
