Lightweight backcountry performance, designed especially with all adventure seeking ladies in mind - the Majesty Velvet
The Majesty Velvet comes with a wide shape and a hybrid camber profile. A perfect combo of float, control and a versatile feeling for both freeriders and backcountry-freestylers. The Velvet is at home in deep snow, whether jumping cliffs or surfing the next powder line.
Riding Style
A freeride/freestyle ski for intermediate to advanced level riders. Shape, design, profile and construction have been specially designed to deliver the best performance in powder. Maximum flotation and manoeuvrability for the deepest snow.
Shape
This ski comes with a directional twin tip shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail with a central binding position. Thus, the ski offers great riding characteristics forward and switch. However, due to the slightly wider nose, you get a bit more float in the soft snow.
Profile
This ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and a rocker in the nose and tail. The enormous float of the rockered tips improves manoeuvrability in deep snow while the camber underfoot provides edge hold, pop and response.
Flex
The medium flex makes the ski stiff enough for powerful turns and soft enough for a playful ride.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
