Mervin's newest fun ride!
The Gloss is the new Women’s Directional Freestyle Twin. The park is yours - the soft-medium flex board has enough pop to stomp every obstacle, the C2e contour, Magne-Traction and the light construction make cruising the slopes of your home resort double fun! Have heads turning looking at your gloss, lady BOSS!
Riding Style
The Gloss is aimed at the intermediate and advanced rider who is mainly looking for a fun jib board in the park and on the slopes.
Shape
The Gloss is a Directional Freestyle Twin. Although it resembles the True Twin by its centred shape, the inserts are set back. This ensures floatation off the park and slope to enjoy some pow.
Profile
C2e - that stands for easy perfection: With the rocker in the middle of the board and the elliptical camber under the bindings to the contact points, the board offers control, precision and is super floaty.
The Gloss also features Magne-Traction® that provides unreal edge hold and turns ice into powder. The Serrated Steak Knife Technology consists of 7 strategically located and sized edge serrations that provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions: entry serration, mild serration and deepest serrations between the feet.
Flex
The soft-medium flex of this board provides you with a playful feeling that inspires jibbing and freestyle moves on every possible obstacle while giving you the pop you need to get on top of everything and the stability you need for charging hard on groomers.
Construction
The Unreal G1 Construction features Aspen/Paulownia Core, which is balanced, light, sustainable, FSC certified, strong and poppy! The Tri-Ax / Bi-Ax Glassfibre is durable, light and poppy, while the Eco Sublimated Poly Topsheet is tough, sheds snow and adds traction. The Co-Extruded Base is fast and easy to maintain. The UHMW 'Ultra High Molecular Weight' sidewalls, are made from a soy-based elastomer and are tough and speedy.
Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.

About Gnu
Gnu have been around since the birth of snowboarding, claiming weird, open minded experimentation to be their job. They have worked with mysterious materials, bizarre geometries, contours and board shapes, far out art and colors, odd terrain and freakish riders to create fantastic progressive snowboards that have helped take snowboarding to wild and magical places. A brand we are happy to call one of the family.
