Vienna starts the surf season in the SCS!

For all landlocked surfers, there is an alternative in the south of Vienna that really has it all. From May on the wave at the Shopping City Süd (SCS) in Vienna is open again. You are invited to relax on the 800sqm platform, let yourself be treated with drinks on the beatuiful sundeck,enjoy some music or you can work on your surf skills.

The Wave

Who hasn't been there yet: The Multiplex CityWave is a so-called standing wave with a width of 7.5 meters. In addition, the surfable wave can be adjusted in height and thus can take on any size between 1.10m and 1.40m. So the size can be easily adapted to the different skill levels. In addition, there is the option for beginners to use a support bar where you can hold on to for your first attempts at standing. In contrast to the famous Eisbach Riversurf in Munich, you don't have to worry about stones on the ground or fear unfriendly locals. For this reason, surfing on the CityWave in Vienna is really loads of fun. Good vibes and all ages and skill levels are welcome here!

To get the most out of your time on the wave, the sessions are divided in different skill levels. Either beginner, advanced or trick, the CityWave offers you the perfect session, which you can book now!

Events

Blue Tomato KidsCamps

During the summer holidays between July and August, the 5-day Blue Tomato KidsCamps will take place again in 2023, so that the youngsters can discover their passion for surfing. The summer camp is suitable for all kids from 8 to 18 years and will take place every week beginning with the 03.07.2023 from Monday to Friday.

The course includes two surf sessions of 45 minutes each in a group of max. 10 kids and a 45 min break between sessions. The price of € 330 also includes a surfboard, wetsuit, helmet, sufficient drinks and a snack.
It couldn't be better!

Other Events

The Air Mattress Fun Cup and the annual Austrian championships in river surfing/stationary wave surfing are currently being planned. For more updates regarding events at the SCS City Wave Vienna, have a look HERE.

The SCS City Wave is located in the south of Vienna directly on the A2 Autobahn on the grounds of the SCS Shopping Center. There are plenty of parking spaces and right next door is our SCS Blue Tomato Shop where you can get yourself the right surfing equipment. Stop by!
