Descripción del artículo
Jibbs and rails all day long with the Disaster
The Disaster is the jib machine that Bataleon team riders rely on! Whether they're riding relaxed boxes in the park or gnarly street trails in the city, this board does it all. It is the softest board in the range and, therefore, perfect for churning, pressing, and sliding.
Riding style
The Disaster's home are the rails and boxes of this world. Jibbing is its motto, whether in the park or on the street.
Shape
In the park, there is only one right choice: True Twin. The Twin 3BT™ shape, with a symmetrical tip and tail, ensures perfect balance and stability—regardless of how you take off or land. The SideKick™ tips enhance edge uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail, making turn initiation easier and improving handling in challenging terrain.
Profile
The Disaster has a Twin 3BT™ shape with a symmetrical tip and tail. It offers balance and stability no matter how you jump or land. The low camber is almost flat but offers enough pop to get onto the rails.
Flex
The soft flex is made for jibbing. This board is happy to tear up rails and boxes.
Construction
The Core Core is constructed from solid poplar wood, interspersed with strands of beech wood, and lies between two layers of biaxial fibreglass. This design enables excellent press and pop characteristics, along with quick manoeuvrability. The Hyper Glide S Base is robust, speedy, and requires minimal maintenance. Flex Walls absorb impacts and provide a vibration-free ride.
