The XA Supermatic® elevates Salomon’s binding innovation to new heights. It features a brand-new automatic step-in design for riders seeking maximum comfort without compromising performance. The key attribute is the automatic entry system, which incorporates a reclining highback and a smart heel pedal that secures you with a click. Classic straps and full boot compatibility render this binding ultra-reliable and versatile – no special boots required.

Highback
The highback automatically reclines when you step in, creating a wide opening for easy entry. As soon as your boot hits the pedal, you’ll hear three clicks, and you’re locked in. To exit, simply press the side release lever and lift your foot out. Quick, smooth, and intuitive.

Baseplate
Built from a durable 30 % fibreglass-reinforced nylon composite, the baseplate offers the perfect balance of response and flex. The XA Supermatic® disc is compatible with all major snowboard mounting systems. A canted footbed supports your natural stance and relieves pressure on your knees, while the XA Supermatic® pad absorbs shocks. A 12° pre-rotated highback and the HB Filter reduce vibrations for a smoother ride.

Straps
The Hybrid Strap merges ankle and toe straps into one secure system that delivers even pressure and a reliable hold. Use them traditionally or let the automatic mode do the work – the straps stay perfectly adjusted. MicroMax strap adjustments allow for a precise fit, and the new LSR 2.0 Auto-Lock buckles make closing quick, strong, and smooth.
