Born in an American Hurricane: "Hey Matt, you know what would be sick? A Hydra stretched to a Mid-Lenght" - It paddles great and catches waves with ease. Plus, it's a Mayhem. So you can count on top performance. In the implementation, Lib Tech stayed true to the magical design elements of the Hydra and made some performance-enhancing adjustments. The result is the Lib Tech X Lost Gydra!

The intensity of the sidecut outline has been reduced for more control, shortening the turn radius and providing more speed with stable control. They kept the double concave in the single concave hull, which allows for high speed, clean turns and vertical surfing. Lib Tech also kept the pronounced chines, which provide more release and allow a high volume concave board to roll easily from rail to rail. As the board gets longer, the rocker is increased so that the longer rail line still allows playful surfing in smaller waves. The board should be ridden about 12" longer than a HYDRA or other Fish, or even 12" taller than your height, depending on your ability and preference.

The Eco Impacto 2 construction is designed to withstand the toughest conditions with enhanced durability and resilience. This board features advanced, pressure-treated Hexylite thermo-fusion power panels, giving it that “dang difficult to ding” quality while maintaining performance. The nitrogen cell upcycled foam core uses environmentally friendly materials and closed-cell construction to minimize water absorption and improve longevity. Wrapped in G-Glass and Magnesium fiber and bound with BioMatrix plant-based resin, the Eco Impacto 2 offers incredible impact resistance without sacrificing flex.
