Product description
The versatile all-mountain board for young riders
The Burton Custom Smalls delivers the legendary performance of the original snowboard, but is specifically designed for younger riders. Featuring a playful flex, a balanced PurePop Camber profile, and forgiving construction, this snowboard supports young riders from their first park laps to missions in the trees. Whether they're hitting the park, cruising on groomed trails, or exploring powder, the Custom Smalls is ready for any adventure.
Riding Style
Perfect for intermediate kids, the Custom Smalls enhances kids freestyle skills, helps them master new tricks, and navigates various terrains.
Shape
The true twin shape is perfectly symmetrical, offering the same ride regular and switch. Pro-Tip tapers the thickness at the nose and tail, reducing swing weight for easier spins and faster transitions.
Profile
PurePop Camber features subtle flat zones just outside the feet, adding to a traditional camber shape. It delivers powerful pop, quick response, and a playful, forgiving ride – ideal for progressing riders.
Flex
Twin flex provides a consistent feel from tip to tail – great for balanced control and switch riding. The flex rating is medium (3 to 6), offering a mix of playfulness and stability.
Construction
The Super Fly® 800G core features dual-density wood laminations, which keep the board lightweight while maintaining its strength and performance. The Dualzone™ EGD™ technology positions the wood grain perpendicularly along the toe and heel edges, enhancing edge hold and durability. Biax™ fiberglass provides a soft, jib-friendly flex, making this board ideal for freestyle riders and beginners. Its extruded base is durable, fast, and easy to maintain. Additionally, Super Sap® epoxy utilizes bio-based resins to minimize the board's carbon footprint. The Channel® mounting system allows for micro-adjustments and is compatible with all major bindings.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
