Thunders work for street

I chose Thunder Trucks because I have used it in the past. It is a well-respected brand known for producing durable and high-performance skateboard components. I skated Film trucks as of late. These trucks are light weight, even without the hollowness. 149 is perfect for 8.5 deck sizes. I like a bigger board because of snowboarding and skating for so long. It gets easier with time and bigger board offers stability for landing.
The geometry of the Thunder Trucks 148/149 Hi is designed to provide skateboarders with a balanced combination of stability and maneuverability. They have a geometry that allows for quick and precise turns, making them suitable for both street and park skating. They do not offer the U-turning type of experience, however. For this reason they shine more on other than transition. My only problem with the trucks is the short baseplate which can wear out if you do only noseslides and tailslides.
These are suitable for intermediate to advanced skateboarders who want reliable trucks for various types of skateboarding styles.
