Jeremy Jones POW Helmet by POC

The all-mountain helmet par excellence, which all models follow, has been redesigned according to the POC Whole Helmet Concept™ and now features MIPS® for improved protection during rotational impacts.
Updates also include an extended PC shell that covers the rim of the helmet and an improved size adjustment system making it easy for you to find a secure, comfortable fit. The revised model's original features, such as aramid penetration protection and adjustable ventilation, remain unchanged. This allows for more protection, with all the features you wouldn't want to do without.

Construction
The In-Mold construction with EPS-Liner scores with its low weight, highest stability and efficient cushioning in case of falls. The aramid reinforcement provides additional stability and better absorption. MIPS® offers extra protection during rotational impacts.

Nachdem mein letzter Helm schon einige Jahre alt war und mich bei einigen kleineren Stürzen gut geschützt hat, war es Zeit ihn durch einen neuen auszutauschen. Auf meinen für eine Frau relativ großen Kopf hat der Helm in ML perfekt gepasst. Super angenehm finde ich, dass man den Helm zusätzlich noch größenverstellen kann. Dementsprechend sitzt er perfekt egal ob ich an dem Tag einen Zopf trage oder die Haare offen glatt am Kopf anliegen.

Wichtig bei meiner Auswahl war mir, dass der Helm Mips mit integriert hat und nicht so warm gefüttert ist, weil ich am Kopf eigentlich relativ wenig friere beim skifahren. Zusätzlich habe ich darauf geachtet, dass man die Ohrenteile am Helm easy abnehmen und wieder anbringen kann, weil ich den Helm beim skitouren meist ohne mitnehme. So kann man ihn einfach leichter im Rucksack verstauen und mit einem Buff über den Ohren ist mir trotzdem schön warm beim abfahren. Ausgetestet habe ich den Helm sowohl beim fahren auf der Piste als auch beim skitouren und freeriden und immer hat er gut performt. Dementsprechend bin ich super happy damit, und wenn man auf der Suche nach einem schlichten Helmdesign ist, kann ich ihn nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Wenn ihr auch auf der Suche nach einem neuen Helm seid, geht am besten mal einen Blue Tomato Shop in eurer Nähe um euch in Ruhe durchzuprobieren und bringt unbedingt auch eure Goggle mit, damit auch am Ende alles gut zusammen passt!

Hey Ihr, diesen Winter bin ich auf den POC FORNIX MIPS POW gestoßen und er hat mich von Anfang an richtig geflashed. Ich habe den Helm in der Größe ML gekauft und er sitzt perfekt.

Den Helm habe ich nun schon bei jedem Wetter testen können, sei es Regen, Schnee oder bei wärmeren Temperaturen wo den ganzen Tag die Sonne scheint. Der Helm hat jeder Bedingung standgehalten. Auch vor ein paar heftigeren stürzen hat er mich sehr gut am Kopf geschützt. Hervorzuheben ist seine easy Größenverstellbarkeit somit kann man noch immer ein bisschen fein tunen. Auch der MIPS sorgt für einen besseren Schutz bei Rotationsstößen. Der Tragekomfort ist super er ist leicht und nicht zu klobig.

Ich würde den Helm jeden Sky oder Snowboardkunden empfehlen, da er durch seine Farbe und Form zu jedem Outfit passt und dich vor Unfällen sehr gut schützt.
