You can notice a difference, but is not so big, even with the 3K. In fact, it's a very small difference and honestly, I am not sure that the purchase is worth it. Better buy a stiffer boot. My boots are an 8, and to me they are stull a bit softer, so I've tried them with the 3K flex boosters (the stiffest ones) and no big difference. It's there, you can notice it, but it's not even a 9 with them on. I think it's a good idea, but it has to be improved.
By the way, one unit IS A PAIR. Maybe it's obvious for most people but since the picture only shows one, and they don't specify, I bought two and now I have got 4 flex boosters. Blue Tomato should specify it in the description.
