A surfskate is more than just a skateboard: it's a unique combination of surfing and skating that allows you to bring the surf feeling to the tarmac. What characterises a surfskate?

In contrast to conventional longboards or cruisers, a surfskate has a special front axle system that enables fast and manoeuvrable turns. This system simulates the turning behaviour of a surfboard, allowing you to make short, fast turns and build up speed, almost as if you were surfing on water.

How surfskates work

The innovative turning dynamics of the front axle allow you to make short and agile turns by compressing and expanding the spring. This is similar to pumping on a surfboard, which makes the surfskate ideal for urban surf sessions.

Choosing the right surfskate setup

Board length: A long board (34‘’ to 40‘’) offers a smoother riding experience, ideal for long cruises or practising flowing movements. Short boards (28‘’ to 33‘’) are better suited for fast and sharp turns.
Trucks and wheels: High and wide trucks similar to those of longboards or cruisers and offer better traction and stability. Soft wheels (78A to 83A) are recommended as they provide a smooth ride even on uneven roads.

Our surfskates are equipped with specially developed carving trucks, which are offered by leading brands such as Carver, Yow and Globe. Each brand has its own truck designs that offer a similar but unique riding experience.

Other types of skateboards: longboards and cruisers

Longboards: Ideal for longer distances and various skate disciplines such as downhill or freestyle. Thanks to their length and construction, they offer more stability and a smooth ride.
Cruiser Skateboards: These compact boards are perfect for everyday use and shorter distances. Equipped with larger, softer wheels, they are comfortable and easy to handle.
