Product description
The perfect mix of stability and lightness
The Tracer 108 is a new ski this year from Armada, in their directional touring/adventure series of skis, the Tracer Line. It is the culmination of all of Armada's ski development for the touring, freeriding and the big mountain arenas. The 108 mm waist provides versatile and stability while the EST rocker in the nose and slight rocker in the tail give the ski a balanced, powerful feeling in the snow. The CHX mesh fibres smooth out vibrations without adding the weight which a full titanal laminate would need. The result is a supremely well-balanced and powerful ski.
Riding Style
The Tracer 108 is an intriguing mix between a hard charging powder ski and a lightweight touring ski. The ski is light enough to tour to the top while it has stiffness and power to crush it on the way down.
Shape
The Tracer Line of skis were designed as directional chargers which are capable of taking people outside the ordinary lines of ski areas
Profile
The Tracer 108 uses Armada's EST Freeride Rocker, which balances a rockered, tapered tip for floatation and a flatter, slightly rockered tail for power and smooth and powerful exit from turns.
Flex
Tip - 6.5, Waist -7, Tail -7.5 (1 = softest, 10 = stiffest). The Tracer series are some of the stiffest Armada produce for performance in the big mountains. The Xrystal Mesh smooths out and dampens the skis.
Construction
As Armada's newest series of skis, the Tracer Series is packed full of the latest technology The Hybrid Ultra-Lite Core is supported by the all new Xystal Mesh, a lightweight dampening material. For stability, there is a titanal binding support and laminate matrix of fibreglass plus the new AR75 sidewalls which add superior grip. The Tapertops help shed up to 20 % weight from the core. The premium Comp Series base keeps you fast.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
