On Friday, 29 September 2023, we are hosting the Blue Tomato Skateday together with the ALEXA shopping centre. At Ravelinplatz you will find the event arena dedicated to skating. You want to improve your skating skills or start skating - we got you! You want to get artistic and design your own t-shirt or grip tape - no problem! There will also be plenty of other workshops, food & drinks and of course good music.

Skate courses
Have you always wanted to learn your first turns and tricks on a skateboard? Then take part in the skate courses from Skatehalle Berlin and Drop In and get your skating skills rolling. In the 30-minute beginners courses, experienced instructors teach you the basics of skating. The courses are ideal for beginners and younger skaters. The minimum age for the courses is 10 years and equipment is available on site.
Workshops
For all the creative minds among you, there are also some workshops. Whether you want to prove your skills with the fingerboards, design a t-shirt with linoleum print or spray graffiti on a grip tape. The workshops will take place from 13:00 to 18:00. The following workshops will take place:
- TechDeck: fingerboard skate park - learn tricks with the finger skateboard
- Stance: buy one, print one - buy something in the Blue Tomato shop and get a special Stance product
- Cariuma: paint for a pair - paint a drawing of a shoe and stand a chance to win a pair of CARIUMA Catiba Pros
- Curare: DIY t-shirt print - get creativ and design a shirt with linoleum print
- Goly Griptape: griptape graffiti - spray a griptape for your skateboard
In addition to the skate courses and workshops, there will be plenty of other activities. Right outside in the event area, you can take a look through our showroom and get some inspiration for shopping. After the skate courses and workshops, you can relax in the chill area with its wide range of tasty food and cool drinks. The Red Bull Eventcar with DJ will provide a good atmosphere.
