Ortovox is breaking new, innovative ground: the Diract Voice is the world's first avalanche transceiver with integrated voice navigation that reliably brings you quickly to your buried comrades in an emergency.

Clear and distinct voice commands tell you what to do in every search phase and keep you calm when your partner's survival is at stake. The display is extremely stable from the first reception, which means less stress in an emergency and enables a faster search. The 3-antenna unit is equipped with the patented Smart Antenna technology, which analyses the position of the unit in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best transmitting antenna. This gives you up to twice the range and helps you to be found more quickly.

Thanks to its reduced, logical design, the Diract Voice is particularly easy and intuitive to use, as a single button allows you to quickly mark spills or switch to standby mode. The post avalanche protection automatically switches from search and standby mode to transmission mode to guarantee full protection for searchers. Even in extreme lighting conditions, the fully graphic, extra-large display is easy to read and provides intuitive user guidance in stressful situations thanks to clear instructions and 360° real-time display.

The handy and 210 gram light avalanche transceiver lies securely in the glove thanks to rubberised grip zones and fits comfortably in the carrying system with quick access, which automatically pushes out the avalanche transceiver as soon as the fastener is opened. This means that the Diract Voice is always quickly and safely at hand and immediately ready for use. The RECCO® reflector integrated in the carrying system offers an additional change as a back-up to be found better.

The Diract Voice has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that is particularly durable and environmentally friendly. Even at -20°C, the battery reliably supplies energy and cannot leak.

Thanks to the free Ortovox App (Apple iOS & Android) you get automatic software updates, your warranty is extended to 5 years and you can watch helpful video tutorials.

I chose this product specially from one reason, It can talk! I spend most of my riding days in the mountains and there in the backcountry. That's why snow safety is very important for me. When Ortovox made this one, it was clear that I will buy it. I had their products before so I knew what to expect.

I have been now practicing with this new Direct Voice transceiver and it is working how they promise. In this model you have bid in battery, which is very handy. Power button is under the search antenna, so you can't turn it off accidentally. The size of the device is also very compact and flat. Search strip is 50meters which is quite standard with modern 3antenna transceivers. The main thing with this one is the voice navigation. I can't highlight that enough how good function that is and how great it actually works. You can choose from many languages, what's best for you. I went with English. It feels amazing when there is voice navigation helping you and backing you up. This will help save many lives!

This is easily the best transceiver in the market at the moment. Having this voice navigation helping you in the tuff situation is amazing plus. If you spend any time in avalanche terrain, get this one! you won't regret!
