Smith Mission Kask

When looking for an All-Mountain helmet in the mid-price range I came across the Smith Mission helmet, that looked cool and was reasonably priced. For me the most importand thing when buying a ski helmet is the fit. Ok, for sure the helmet has to look cool, but the fit is the most important thing, as the prime focus of the helmet is to keep you safe and protect your head. The fit of the Smith Mission helmet is great and the size can be adjusted with the wheel on the lower back side of the helmet. My head meassures somewhere around 56 cm and the size M fits me perfectly.

The helmet seems durable and the fit of ski goggles is perfect. A great fact is, that spherical as well as cylindrical goggles fit to it. The helmet is equiped with a goggle clip, that keeps the goggles securely in place. The ventilation is good and can be adjusted, so your head will stay cool on warm days as well as warm on cold ones.

The Smith Mission helmet offers great protection, great fit and has high effective ventilation. It can keep you warm and comfortable all day. The only con is the lack of the MIPS system that comes with the more pricey models. Overall, I really like the Smith Mission helmet and I recommend it to anyone looking for an budget but cool-looking All-Mountain helmet.
