Nitro Anthem TLS Buty snowboardowe

Hiya! I'm Sam, working at Blue Tomato Utrecht :) I had been looking for new snowboard boots for a long while now, as my feet always cramped up in my old ones. Here in Holland we ride the indoor dome a lot, meaning tens of laps through the funpark each night. Because of this a boot really needs to perform for me in order not to become uncomfortable during all the time spent either hitting rails/kickers or riding the tow rope. I ride an EU size 44, which is completely true to my sneaker size, as this seems to still fit my feet perfectly. My feet are rather skinny and flat, making for a lot of uncomfortable moments in rental boots / bigger snowboard boots, which is why I had been on the lookout for skinnier fitting boots which really fit my feet. These Nitro Anthems really feel like they have been molded around my feet, not allowing for any excess space around my ankles/heels/toes. Finally, no more cramp!

As I said, I mostly rode these boots in the funpark, and the flex 5 really fits my needs there. They're comfy without being too soft and they really feel like they will perform just as well on slope or in powder. The material on the inside is soft and comfy while the outside is quite sturdy; the only thing I would be concerned about is whether they will get wear and tear quite quickly on the outside. The Burton boots I used to ride were incredibly sturdy, time will tell whether these boots are just as strong. I had been looking for flex 5 boots for a while, as my previous ones were too flexy, causing me to strap my bindings in too tight in order to get some control over my snowboard. Hitting rails definitely became a lot more comfortable with these boots on!

Great boots overall and definitely worth considering if you have my kind of feet or are skinny in general. I would recommend trying on different sizes to see whether they fit as much true to size for you as they do for me. Great boots, but quite pricy for an all-mountain flex. Cheers!
