Product description
Maximum performance for pristine big mountain terrain
Designed to go even further into the unknown. The XV SPLIT is the splitboard version of Xavier De Le Rue's pro model snowboard. With the same shape, flex and wavy edges as the standard XV, this splitboard gives you high-performance features to shred the biggest, boldest and most remote backcountry lines.
Riding style
This splitboard is ideal for advanced riders and experts who want to shred the most difficult line after a long ascent.
Shape
The tapered directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is longer and wider than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The additional setback of the bindings gives the board a lot of uplift in powder. The Serrated Edges technology with its wavy edges provides more grip no matter where you are on the mountain, especially on packed snow and icy spots.
Profile
The AmpTek Elite profile combines a traditional camber between the bindings with a moderate tip and tail rocker for improved smoothness, pop and outstanding float.
Flex
The hard flex gives you absolute smoothness and stability at high speeds.
Construction
The Triple Hybrid Core 2 (THC) comes with CBF2 structure and two Microcell strips for minimum weight while improving balance, control and edge grip. The sintered base is an industry standard for high-quality bases. It offers a good balance between the speed achieved by a hard surface and good wax absorbance. Rossignol's Roller technology comes with a milled core profile along the edges to lift them off the snow at specific angles. This reduces inertia, facilitates edge changes and concentrates pressure underfoot.
