Designed for high performance and a smooth ride
Ride set out to develop the smoothest binding in the world, and the C-8 was convincing. Top features like the Slimeback™ Highback, C-Series Performance Chassis and Reversible Ankle Straps provide a responsive yet cushioned ride. The stiff flex improves control for a precise, aggressive ride on any terrain.
Highback
The urethane material of the Slimeback™ highback provides a smooth ride and allows for maximum lateral mobility. The Slimeback™ material absorbs vibrations and provides a cushioned ride.
Baseplate
The C-Series Performance Chassis combines an aluminium heelcup with a fibreglass-filled nylon base. The aluminium heel cup is strong and durable, the nylon base provides a cushioned and responsive ride. Integrated rubber PODS provide additional cushioning.
Straps
The Reversible Ankle Strap offers two riding positions. With the stiff part of the strap on top, you get a more aggressive feel. If you change the straps so that the soft part is on the top, you get more flexibility and freedom of movement to the sides. The Minimalist Toe Strap acts as the perfect complement to keep you perfectly in the binding.
