Product description
Asymmetrical freestyle performance for the park with the ingenious design by Eivy
The Optisym was inspired by all those female snowboarders who love to turn any terrain, even a groomed slope, into a freestyle playground. The board comes with an asymmetric twin shape for endless control when carving and shredding all over the mountain. The Optisym is a balanced freestyle board for riders who want to give free rein to their creativity in any terrain.
Riding style
An all-mountain and park board for advanced riders. This board is perfect for freestyle riding in the park and all over the mountain. The Cam-Out Camber profile makes the board playful and forgiving. Yet it remains stable at higher speeds, perfect for bigger kickers and hard slopes.
Shape
The True Twin shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden forward or switch. The asymmetrical sidecut has a smaller radius on the heel edge and a larger one on the toe edge. This makes heelside turns easier and also more controllable.
Profile
Nitro's Cam-Out Camber is a traditional camber profile with early and smooth transitions in nose and tail. As a result, you get a fun and responsive board that enables pinpoint turns yet is forgiving.
Flex
The medium flex gives you the flex and feedback you need for jibbing without sacrificing stability and pop when it comes to the big kickers.
Construction
The Powercore II is a poplar wood core with beech wood stringers, for unmatched stability, smooth response and incredible pop. The Whiplash Core profile is a thinner board profile between the bindings with reinforced board ends. For maximum ollie power and at the same time a softer flex during presses. Powerwall technology means extra sidewall material on the heel edge of the board. This provides extra durability and cushioning while improving agility when you switch from toe to heel. The Ureshred sidewalls are made of polyurethane. This makes them very resistant to shock and abrasion and gives them excellent damping properties. The Railkiller Edge is twice as thick and twice as strong as standard steel edges, making it extremely durable. The Premium Extruded FH Base is very durable, user-friendly and offers good gliding properties even without constantly waxing it.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
