Product description
When Nitro and Volcom come together ...
The Nitro Beast X Volcom is Nitro's park machine, designed for park riders by park riders. Nitro's best park riders had a hand in the development. The combination of the Park Flex, Whiplash Core Profile and Trüe Camber provides the perfect camber for smooth landings and clean jumps.
It is not only through team riders like Marcus Kleveland and Torgeir Bergrem that the two brands, Nitro and Volcom, feel connected. They admire each other's work and so it was only a matter of time before they collaborated: the Beast X Volcom collaboration goes into a new round and makes our hearts beat faster again this season.
Riding style
Freestyle - you spend your days in the park on the kickers and rails and head out for the next evening street spot as soon as the lights go out? Then this is the right board for you!
Shape
This board comes in a twin shape. The snowboard is perfectly symmetrical and rides exactly the same in both directions, with its focus on freestyle.
Profile
Powerful, lively and precise - Trüe Camber is the classic camber profile from Nitro. Camber is a core aspect of snowboard construction. Offering a snappy suspension, the camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail. If you like to haul ass and go big, camber is irreplaceable.
Flex
The stiff flex (8/10) ensures precise control and fast board response.
Construction
The Powercore II is a tip-to-tail poplar wood core with beech wood stringers that provides unmatched stability, smooth response and incredible pop. The Whiplash Core Profile gives you maximum ollie power with a thinner board profile between the bindings and reinforced board ends, while also providing a harmoniously tuned flex for presses.
The Tri-Lite Laminates offer the perfect blend of flex and torsion control. The Nitro tuned Tri-Lite fibreglass, which runs in three directions in the board, makes it manoeuvrable and reliable on the edges. The Diamond Band carbon reinforcements are extremely durable and lightweight. Tip-to-tail inserts transmit the rider's reactions without loss and help you control the board precisely. The Ballistic Impact Panels are made of Kevlar©, which is used for bulletproof vests. It is used at strategic locations around board inserts to protect the core.
The Railkiller Edge is your secret weapon for rails and durability. With its unique edge profile and higher impact resistance compared to standard edges, the Railkiller Edge is twice as thick and twice as strong. The Sintered Speed Formula II Base is a technical masterpiece and is only used on Nitro's high-end boards.

Subject to alterations according to the manufacturer. Image is non-binding.
Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
