A new mega-construction from Capita
The Capita Mega Death is hard to beat for innovative "mega technology". Megacarbon™ Array, wide carbon strips, provide incredible feedback and snap while keeping the board light. Speaking of light, with the FSC® certified 3D thermopolymer Starship Core™ with ultra-light post-consumer recycled plastic to the super-light Skin™ topsheet, the construction perfectly balances performance and weight. The Alpine V1 profile makes it the ultimate all-mountain weapon for experts. It offers the best edge hold while carrying you over powder like a feather.
The Mega Death is handmade in Austria in the first snowboard production facility powered by 100% clean energy.
Riding Style
This board is perfect for all-mountain junkies with expert skills. The Mega Death offers a highly reactive ride, is incredibly light and can handle any terrain.
Shape
With a directional shape, the nose is slightly longer than the tail. The bindings and the sidecut are offset to the rear. This design keeps it stable at higher speeds and offers you plenty of float in powder.
Profile
The Alpine V1 profile combines a classic camber preload between the bindings with a rocker in the nose. The rocker carries you effortlessly over powder. The camber extends far into the tail and offers good edge hold and fast power transfer on hard slopes.
Construction
The Starship Core™ 3D thermopolymer is FSC® certified and produced using an advanced electronic sorting system. This system sorts premium and reforestation poplar by weight and grain, ensuring consistent flex. With the addition of bonded recycled thermopolymer channels, the Starship Core™ becomes an advanced hybrid core that gives you extreme pop. Pure Megakarbon™ is a wide carbon band on the top and bottom of the wood core. It offers 4 times the power and response of Capita's previous carbon additions. The sintered Megadrive™ base is ultra-fast hard and absorbs a large amount of wax for more durability and speed.

Snowboards are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new snowboard should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
