Product description
Soft shell, tangy core - BDog Edgeless by Armada
The Armada BDog is the epitome of a reliable freestyle ski. With the edgeless version - the BDog Edgeless - Phil Casabon goes one better and enables you with a super soft flex and best gliding properties on all obstacles and surfaces absolute boundlessness in creative riding. Creativity is everything for Phil and the BDog Edgeless his new favourite instrument.
Why edgeless skis?
Very simple - that's what Phil Casabon aka BDog wanted. With steel edges, it's not so easy to slide over aluminium, cement, vinyl and all the other surfaces that Phil doesn't want to miss. Edgeless skis also have an extremely soft flex. This leads to more expressive riding, regardless of the medium.
Riding style
An urban/park ski for advanced riders. From rails and kickers in the park to street rail sessions in the evening. Perfect for urban features and jib tricks.
Shape
This ski comes with a Directional Twin shape, the nose is a few millimetres wider than the tail, with a central binding position. Thus the ski offers you the same skiing characteristics forward and switch. However, thanks to the slightly wider nose you get a little more uplift in fresh snow.
Profile
This ski comes with a classic camber under the binding and an even rocker in nose and tail. This profile is perfect for any terrain. Precision and pop for park and slope, good uplift in powder.
Flex
The BDog is the softest ski in the complete Armada range.
Construction
The AR75 sidewall construction comes with a cap construction in tip and tail and with a sidewall under the binding. The cap construction in tip and tail reduces the swing weight, while the sidewall makes the ski more robust. The poplar ash core combines lightweight wood with a denser, stiffer wood in a horizontal laminate to create an incredibly lively ski. This core provides the power you need to push your riding to a new level. The S7 base is robust and low maintenance and comes with a speed additive for more speed.

Freeskis are usually delivered ready-to-ride with a waxed base and sharpened edges. However, this so-called factory-tuning is not very durable and your new skis should be properly waxed after a few days and maintained on a regular basis.
