Product description
The pro model by Marie-France Roy
With the Veda, you follow in the footsteps of Marie-France Roy. MFR not only rips the really big lines, she is also extremely committed to the environment and sustainability. That's exactly what you get with their signature splitboard. A sustainably and responsibly developed snowboard made for big mountain lines.
Riding style
With the Veda, there are no limits to your freeride adventure. From easy pillow lines to steep faces, the Veda gives you the support you need - uphill and downhill.
Shape
The directional shape is perfect for all-mountain and freeriding. The nose is longer than the tail for controlled turns in any terrain. The additional setback of the bindings gives the board a lot of uplift in powder. Arbor's Grip Tech gives the board extra contact points, for best edge hold even in icy conditions.
Profile
The camber profile consists of only a single positive camber from nose to tail. This classic profile offers high stability, good edge control and plenty of pop.
The Uprise Fenders System lifts the outer contact points off the snow. This means that the edges at the contact points of nose and tail are tilted upwards. This creates a playful driving feeling without tilting.
Flex
The medium Flex is the perfect midway. Playful, but at the same time hard enough to allow you full control and precision.
Construction
The Highland Split Core comes with extra inserts and inserts in the centreline, making the Veda an absolute premium splitboard. Mixed glassing offers a combination of triax over biax fibreglass, creating a very versatile flex: powder, backcountry, piste, jumps & more. The topsheet is made from sustainable wood and processed into an Ash Powerply construction. This technology not only looks good, it also improves the power, durability and responsiveness of the snowboard. The 360° sidewalls enclose the board completely. This technology includes incredibly small tolerances and thus significantly increases the stability of the board. The sintered base is fast, durable and easy to repair.
The Veda Camber comes with Karakoram UltraClips. They are powerful, easier to use and lighter. Once connected, the UltraClip completely restricts the splitboard's seam to eliminate seam rattle, seam shear and seam roll. The lever also locks in the touring position to prevent unwanted movement during ascent.
